Collins Clipper: ....Thomas Benton Wilson was born Sept. 6, 1840, at Hagerstown, Maryland. Moved with his mother to Bainbridge, Pa., in the fall of 1861. Enlisted as a private in Co. L, 2d U. S. Cavalry, November, 1862. For many years past he has lived in Collins township, Story county, where he died at 1 a. m., Monday, July 1, 1891, in his sixtieth year.
