Colo, May 6.--The 8-year-old and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weir, two miles northeast of here, was accidentally killed last evening. Her elder brother went to the barns to throw hay from the loft with a pitchfork. The girl followed unnoticed, and in some manner got in the way of the fork. One of the prongs stuck her just below the left eye, penetrating to the brain and causing death instantly. The family, especially the boy, is heart-broken.
