Ames Watchman.

J. W. Freeland died at his home in this city on Saturday evening at the age of 70 years. He was a native of Indiana and came to this place eight years ago since which time he has made it his residence. He leaves a wife and and six children to look forward to a meeting in a better land. The children were mainly in attendance here coming from their homes for the purpose of so doing. The sermon was by Rev. McIntyre and was held at the residence.
