From Story County Watchman May 3, 1901

Pat. Elvin, a former resident of this locality died at his home near Jefferson Monday and the remains were taken to Illinois for interment beside other members of his family there interred.*

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Actually, Patrick Elvin was buried in the Mount Cavalry Cemetery, Grand Junction, Greene County, Iowa with his wife, Winnie.
