DIED:--Mrs. Betsy Sime, wife of C. C. Sime some years deceased, passed away last Saturday morning at 4 o'clock having reached the advanced age of 78 years. For some time Mrs. Sime had been in feeble health through old age and her departure came peacefully as a child falling asleep. Her two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Ringheim and Miss Martha Sime and her son Thomas, were with her at the last. Funeral services were held at the family residence on mile south of town on Monday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. A. B. Shrader of Nevada assisted by Pastor Bondahl of Marshalltown. Interment washad in Nevada cemetery. The aged sister of the diseased, Mrs. Isabel Larson, of Hardin, was able to be present at the funeral, although very feeble with age.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The deceased was born "Brita Seim" and when she married Kolben Kolbienson Hovda (aka Colben C. Hovda), he took her name and Americanized his name to Colben C. Sime.
