From Story County Watchman March 1, 1901

Mrs. A. C. Pond* died at her home in North Richland Monday after a lingering illness. The funeral was held yesterday under the direction of Rev. Shrader of the Lutheran society. The family are receiving the sympathy of their neighbors in this their hour of sorrow.
