Wednesday C. M. Soper and wife were called upon to mourn the death of their infant son, Lester, after a brief illness from lung fever. The funeral will be held this afternoon and interment will be in the cemetery at Ames. The friends of the family extend to them their commiseration because of the severe blow thus given them, trusting they will bear the same with christian fortitude considering it all for the better.
