From Story County Watchman October 12, 1900

This week Nevada has been called upon to mourn the loss of another aged citizen in the person of Alex Dinsmore. Mr. Dinsmore was one of the older settlers of this county and secured a competence in the farming in which he was engaged retiring some years since from active life, his age was 87 years. He leaves a wife and family of grown up children to mourn for him, since the last call has been made.

IN MEMORIAM.--The following resolutions were adopted at a regular meeting of Central Iowa Lodge No. 104 I. O. O. F. Oct., 1900:
Whereas: Central Iowa Lodge No. 104 I. O. O. F. has been bereftof one of its oldest and most honorable members in the death of brother A. F. Dinsmore on Oct. 11, 1600; therefore, be it
Resolved, that while we bow in humble submission to the Divine will yet we lament the loss of our brother and sympathize with his bereaved family and commend them to the care of him who "doeth all things well."
Resolved, that copy of these resolutions be presented to the family of our late brother and to the city papers for publication and the same be spread upon the records of our lodge.
