Zearing Enterprise: ....Mrs. Telinda Alderson died at the home of Joseph Allen 3 miles northeast of Zearing, Story Co., Iowa, May 1st, 1900. Deceased was born in Tennessee, Dec. 23rd, 1818, age 81 years, 4 mo. and 8 da. She moved in infancy to Indiana and lived there until she came to Iowa in '93. She survived her husband Richard Alderson 29 years. She leaves one son, Solomon Alderson, 3 brothers John F. Ingram, Comodore D. Ingram and Chas. B. Ingram, and one sister Mrs. Elizabeth J. Allen.
