Tilghman H. Strickler (1823-1900)

From Story County Watchman April 13, 1900

Mr. Strickland died at the residence of his daughter Mrs. Oyler on Saturday last as quite an advanced age. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Iowa Center after services at that point.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mr. Strickland" was Tilghman H. Strickler and "Mrs. Oyler" was his daughter, Nancy Jane (Strickler) Oyler, who married John Oyler.
