Zearing Enterprise: ....The community was greatly shocked yesterday morning on hearing the news of the unexpected death of Miss Sophia Carver, living southwest of Zearing. She had not been well for several days but was not taken to her bed until Saturday, when a phsician was called but did not think her case was serious. On Sunday she seemed so much worse and three physicians were in attendance but too late to save her life and she died Sunday night at midnight. The funeral was held today at 11 a. m., at the Evangelical church Rev. Lucas of the M. E. church at Colo, preaching the sermon assisted by Rev. Lang of this place. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at this place.
