Word has been given out that Clarence Mason, son of Ross Mason, has just died in the Philippines from appendicitis after a brief illness. Mr. Mason is quite well known in this city having lived here several years since. The Government will send the body to this country and it will be taken to Jefferson for interment where his parents now reside.
