Saturday night Mrs. Mary Maroney died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Biddle near this city, aged 53 years. She was a native of Ireland but came to this country at at early day and has resided in the county for many years. She leaves three sons and three daughters to mourn her loss. The last rites were held under th ministration of Father Nichols of the Catholic church after which the remains were taken to El Paso, Illinois for interment accompanied by her daughters and sons here. She was a lady who stood high with her neighbors and all of whom extend to the family their sorrow over the misfortune which has befallen them.
