DIED--On Thursday evening about 6 o'clock Mrs. Jens Pederson aged about 73 years. She had long been a sufferer of that dread disease cancer and has at last succombed to its influence. She was born in Denmark and came to this country many years ago and for the past 17 years has been a resident of Nevada. The last rites will be held tomorrow at the Lutheran church under the ministration of Rev. Shrader after which the remains will be laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery. She leaves a husband, two sons and one daughter to mourn her loss. A sister lives near Story City and has been caring for her for some time.
