Mrs. Blance Soper King died at her home in Chicago Thursday of last week after a brief illness. She was a daughter of T. K. Soper, formerly of this city but now of Chicago and she was born on a farm in Milford township, Soper's Mill, where she lived for several years, then moved to Ames with her parents, thence Chicago. Mr. King is in the Klondyke and will not receive word of her death until after a letter shall have been received from him, as in his last he stated that he did not know what his address would be and not to write until he had written them.
