Colo Watchman.
Mrs. McCoy, wife of the late Roger McCoy died on Monday morning after an illness of several months duration. She was near 68 years of age. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Nevada last Wednesday, where a large concourse of friends had assembled to pay their last tribute. She leaves seven sons and four daughters to mourn the loss of a loving mother. The family have the sincere sympathy of all in this their hour of sorrow and bereavement.

Miss Bridget Monahan was born in Ireland in the year 1830, and died in Colo, Iowa, on March 28, 1898. In 1852 she married to Roger McCoy and six boys and four girls were the children of this untion, and all except one son, William were present during her last sickness. Rev. Hennessey of Nevada, conduced the funeral services on last Wednesday, after which the precious dust was laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery beside that of her husband who died on Sept. 22, 1897. The family have the sympathy of a host of friends in this their hour of trial and affliction.
