Story City Messenger: ....Funeral services over the late Mrs. Sarah Mathews, wife of Chas. Mathews, were held last Sunday in the Congregational church at Gilbert Station: Rev. J. Wirth of this place officiating. Mrs. Mathews was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Manges, one of the oldest settlers in that vicinity.
