DIED.--This morning about 4 o'clock, M. P. Webb passed to the great beyond. He has long been a patient sufferer and it is a relief to his suffering. He has long been a resident of this city an prominent in social and political circles, being at the time of his sickness county attorney for this county. He spent some time at Mt. Pleasant under treatment but it was of no avail and the end is now here. His age was about forty-seven years. He leaves a wife and children to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellows order under whose auspices the funeral will take place on Sabbath next from the Methodist church at 2 o'clock p. m.
