From Story County Watchman February 18, 1898

On the 14th inst., Wm. Wilson died at the asylum at Mount Pleasant and the remains were brought home for interment, which occurred on Wednesday. He was a native of England and aged 47 years. He came to Iowa in 1872, since which time he made his home with his brother on East Indian. He was quiet and inoffensive and was known to all in this section before being taken to the asylum.
