Maxwell Tribune: ....Mrs. Catherine A. Flickinger was born in Pennsylvania, on March 30, 1826, and died after a brief illness at the old homestead near Elwell, Nov. 11, 1897, aged 71 years, 6 months and 11 days. She was married on 1843, and her husband died in 1889. They had a family of five boys and five girls; four of the boys and three girls survive their mother.
