Cambridge Dispatch: ....Laura Elsena Hubbard was born in Jefferson county, N. Y., June 27, 1844, and died in Cambridge, Iowa, July 2, aged 53 years, 27 days. She removed with her parents to Jefferson county, Wis., in 1846. She was married to Chas. H. Stowe January 1, 1862, and moved to Cambridge in 1866. From that time up to her death she had constantly lived here. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Stowe, two of whom preceeded the wife and mother to the better world. The other six children with the sorrowing father, are left to mourn their sad loss. Mrs. Stowe was converted and joined the M. E. church at Fort Atkinson, Wis., in 1865, and she remained a devoted servant to her Blessed Master to the time of her death....
