DIED.--Mrs. Eliza Miller was born in Ogle county, Ill., and died near Colo, Story county, Iowa Feb. 16, 1897, aged 49 years. She has been a resident of Story county for 17 years. She embraced religion in her youth and was an earnest Christian to the end of life. She was loved an respected by all who knew her best. She leaves a husband one son and one daughter to mourn their great loss. Two children having preceded her to he Spirit world.

We miss thee from our home dear mother
We miss thee from thy place,
A shadow o'er our life is cast,
We miss the sunshine on thy face.

We miss thy kind and willing hands,
Thy fond and earnest care,
Our home is sad without thee,
We miss thee everywhere.
