Ames Times: ....Jemima Cochran was born in Sercy county, Ohio, June 7, 1827; was united in marriage to James Noble, at Marion, Ind., Sept. 17, 1846; died at her home in this city Sunday morning Nov. 24, 1895. From the union of deceased with James Noble, there were eight children born, three girls and five boys, two of the boys having preceeded the mother to the great beyond; three survive her, two of whom John and Frank reside in Story county, and other at Belle Plaine....
