Ames Times: ....The funeral of Evangelist Rev. L. G. Brown was held from his late residence in this city, at 11 o'clock, Tuesday, July 9. Mr. Brown was born in Orleans, N. Y., July 17, 1833. His father was one of the farmer preachers of his day, well educated and thrifty....
