Slater News: ....Old Mr. Kirsher died from old age last Friday* at the home of his son John, living 2 miles south of Sheldahl....
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John Kirsher, Sr. is buried in the Polk City Cemetery in Polk County, Iowa. His dates are given as October 17, 1810-January 11, 1895.
