From Story County Watchman September 7, 1894

Miss Cornelia Zenor, sister of Mrs. Jasper Zenor*, of this city died after a lingering illness. The physicians pronounced it consumption. Miss Zenor was buried at Ontario on Monday p. m. Many friends from Ames attended the funeral. All friends sympathize with the bereaved ones in this the hour of severe trial. We shall oft remember kind words spoken by her and trust that she may receive that "blessed reward."

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Cornelia Bell Zenor was married to Hiram Daniel Ward in 1886 but was listed as Cornelia B. Zenor, divorced, in the 1895 census (also as deceased in 1894.) She was the sister of William Jasper Zenor aka Jasper Zenor, not Mrs. Jasper Zenor as stated.
