The Ames Watchman

Miss Anna Courtney who formerly lived at Ames but, at the time of her death lived about six miles north, after a long illness from consumption, passed away and was laid to rest in the Ames cemetery, after the funeral services which were held at the house of Mr. Cortney on Wednesday. Miss Anna was at one time a student of the I. A. C. She was loved by those who knew her and her many friends sympathize with those who mourn the loss of one so good.
