The Ames Watchman

Mr. Cummings engineer of the A. & C. R. R. died on last Thursday after having undergone an operation. He was taken to Boone for burial, on Saturday noon, funeral having taken place on Sunday. Several persons went up from Ames, to attend the funeral. Mr. Cummings was a man beloved by those who knew him. He leaves a wife to mourn the loss of a kind husband. Mrs. Cummings has the most profound sympathy of her Ames friends.
