Cambridge Press: William L. Graves was born Feb. 7th, 1816, in Washington Co., New York. He was married in 1835 to Mary Burgis, and moved to Wisconsin in 1840. Four children, George, Hannah, Isaac and Mary, were born to them, of whom the last two ar now living. Mr. Graves was taken ill Dec. 23d, 1893, and departed this life at 6 A. M., Tuesday, March 27th, 1894, the cause of demise being dropsy of the heart.
