The Ames Watchman

Mr. Wm. C. Shockly died Thursday and was buried at 10 a. m. Saturday.

Mr. Shockley was one of the oldest residents of this county and has lived here for a number of years moving from near Walnut Grove south of Ames. He was a man who was true to his friends and as such was respected by all. The funeral was largely attended and all took part feeling that a good man had gone to his rest.
