Mrs. Hugh Jack, wife of the clergyman of the Presbyterian Church in this city depated this life on Saturday evening last after a brief illness. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Horswell, of the M. E. Church, after which the remains were taken to Wolf Island, N. Y., for interment. J. A. Fitchpatrick accompanied the bereaved husband on the trip. She left a daughter some four months old to mourn the loss of its mother. She has been a resident here but a short time but in that had greatly endeared many to her because of personal worth and kindliness all of whom are grieved to hear of the sad ending.
