From Story County Watchman January 12, 1894

DIED.--At her residence in Superior, Neb., Christmas Day, Mrs. Sarah E. Pool, wife of N. Pool*, of consumption, aged 35 years. She was born in Nevada township, where she was raised, her name being Thornton*. She leaves her husband with two children to mourn her loss. Her many friends in this locality will grieve over her early demise and extend to the bereaved relatives the consolation of a meeting in the future where there shall be no more parting.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Sarah Ellen Thorlton, not "Thornton", married Henry L. Pool not "N. Pool" in Story County, Iowa.
