DIED.--Tuesday morning Geo. Walker died in this city at the residence of his son F. J.* Walker at the age of 86 years and 11 months. He was born in Leeds, England, and came to this country with his parents in early life. In 1840 he was married to Elizabeth Nelson, to whom three children were born, of which E. J. Walker of this place and Mrs. Chappell of South Dakota, are living. His wife preceded him to the future land in 1901. The funeral will be held and the remains taken to Gilman, Iowa, for interment probably today. The gentleman has made his home with his son for several years, in this place and is quite will known to many of our people.
