From Story County Watchman February 10, 1893

Thos. Coyle died at the home of his uncle, Thos. Coyle near Colo, the last of the week, and the remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery at Nevada Sunday. He was a young man of much promise and for a time was operator for the Northwestern at Nevada.
