The Ames Watchman

The last of the week C. M. Soper was called to LeGrand by the illness of his father, J. H. Soper. Word was received that he had died and that the remains would be brought to Ames for interment. Mr. Soper was formerly in business in this city and was of the firm of Monroe, Soper & Lods, and stood high in the esteem of all our old residents.
