From Story County Watchman November 25, 1892
Monday noon Clarence B. Lockridge passed from this world to a better one aged about 17 years. When about five years of age he received a paralytic sroke from which he never recovered and has since that time been an almost helpless invalid. He has been most tenderly cared for by his parents, Wm. Lockridge and his wife, and family, and all done that could be to remedy the evil but without avail and now the end is here. In the face of this it was hard for the friends and relatives to see the last come. The funeral services were held Wednesday under the conduct of Rev. Schnur, and the remains interred in the Nevada cemetery.
