Monday afternoon H. M. S. Deitricksen, of Huxley, was drowned just north of the bridge at Cambridge. It appears that he went in swimming with three others and after he had been in the water a short time he reached a point which was probably beyond his depth and before those with him knew of the matter and could render him assistance he was drowned. He was engaged in teaching school at Huxley.
