The Ames Watchman

On Thursday evening of last week while several boys were jumping off and on the cars here a boy of George Butler aged about 14 years fell under the cars and had both legs taken off above the knees. Physicians were called and the limbs were amputated and everything possible did to make the boy comfortable. He was unable to rally under the shock and died at eight o'clock the next morning.
