DIED.--The Los Angeles Times of the 6th has this to say about about a former resident of this place:
"Coroner Meredith yesterday held an inquest on the body of Frank C. Tyler, an account of whose death at the police station from the effects of an overdose of morphine taken in a New High-street "joint," Wednesnight, was published in the Times yesterday morning. The deceased was the son of ex-Police Captain Tyler, and had been living in the city for some time, but, strange to say, no one recognized him when he was brought to the station, and the first that the father and family of the deceased knew of his tragic fate was when they saw it in the papers."
Tyler was about 23 years of age, had a wife and one child.
