The Ames Watchman

On Saturday last J. B. McIlyea died at his home near town. The immediate cause of death is given as heart failure, and it can be traced back to the breaking of his leg some weeks ago. He was buried on Monday in the Ames Cemetery by Ellsworth Post G. A. R. of which he was an honored member. His age was 67 years. He has lived in this part of the state many years and was a most valued citizen.
