DIED.--At his residence in Webster City, David D. Miracle, on Sunday last. He has been on the bench for the past two terms and stood well with the bar throughout the district. Quite a number of our lawyers attended the funeral. The bar of this county met in session Tuesday and passed the following resolutions:
WHEREAS is has pleased our all wise Creator to remove by death the Hon. D. D. Miracle, for many years one of the judges of the 11th Judicial District, therefore
"RESOLVED that it is with feelings of profound sorrow that we learn the sad intelligence, that we realize in his death the loss of a friend, a learned and honest lawyer, a just, able and upright Judge, and a patriotic citizen.
"That we sincerely deplore his untimely death and tender to his bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy and condolence in this sad hour of their affliction.
"That a copy of these resolutions be forwarded to the widow of the deceased and published in the papers of the county and spread upon the records of the Court."
