From Story County Watchman December 31, 1886

Mrs. Etta DeTar, daughter of S. S. Webb of Boon and grand daughter of uncle David Child of this city gave birth to a daughter on Tuesday last. It lived until Wednesday evening when it passed from this world of tears into the region beyond the river.
