Mary Buffington, aged 26 years, died at the residence of her parents in this place on Sunday last. The remains were buried in the Cemetery in Sherman township Monday.
On last Sabbath afternoon Rev. R. A. Ferguson, preached the funeral of James A. Gough, who was killed sometime ago on the railroad, to a large congregation at the Hickory Grove school house near the residence of the Gaugh family.
On Monday he preached the funeral of Miss Mary Buffington, at the Lutheran Church in Johnsons Grove.
