Eugene Briley formerly of Franklin township had the misfortune to lose his boy by a lightening stroke at his home in Wright County last week. The remains were buried in the cemetery at Ames on Monday. The family is one of the oldest in the county and his old friends in Story County will be sorry to hear of his affliction.
