DIED:--At the residence of Mr. O. Barnes, on Saturday morning, March 7th, after a lingering illness, Mrs. Saloma Barnes, aged 67 years.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Allegahny county, New York, and moved to Story county about 15 years ago and had resided in Nevada about seven years. She was married to Mr. O. Barnes over 50 years ago, whom she leaves to look forward to a reunion in a future land, where parting is no more. Eight children called her mother, of whom seven survive her. She has been an acceptable member of the M. E. church nearly all her life, and will reap the reward that follows the faithful. Her last hours were met with a sereneness assured by a triumphant reception in the future home.
