From Story County Watchman November 19, 1880

Mr. J. B. York died very suddenly last Sarurday evening. Coroner Boggess was sent for las Sunday and an inquest held that evening over his remains. The particulars of the inquest we have not yet been able to learn but presume we shall know soon and with them report in full.
