DIED.--In Indian Creek township, near Peoria City, on Wednesday morning, Mr. James Kirkman, after a lingering illness of several years, of hip disease.

Mr. Kirkman was one of the oldest settlers in that part of the county and was esteemed by his neighbors and associates. The remains were buried yesterday.
