THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, November 19, 2010.

Frank Edmonson Miller, 83, of Ormond Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Florida Hospital Hospice Oceanside. A family graveside memorial service will be at a later date in Ames.

He was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Lapeer, Mich. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II and graduated from the University of Michigan, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He moved to Ormond Beach from Ames in 1988, and was a member of Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Ormond Beach Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, Todd, of Oak Park, Calif., Tobin (Zainab), of Lorton, Va., and Timothy (Alexandra), of North Kingstown, R.I.; and four grandchildren, Nathan, Elias, Ashley and Megan.
