DIED.

Sarah E. Brown, wife of E. Brown, August 10th, 1878, after an illness of ten days.

Sister Brown was born July 16th, 1812, made a profession of religion in early life, joined the M. E. Church nine years ago. Having moved to Story county, away from the Church of her early choice, about two years ago she gave her letter to the M. P. Church. She lived a consistent christian life, loved by all who knew her. She was married to her now bereaved husband, June 23, 1863. Three of her little children preceded her to the better land. One little boy about 13 years of age is left to mourn. Husband and son have the sympathy of all who know them.

Thus passed away from earth sister Brown at the age 63 years and 24 days.
