DIED - Mr. and Mrs. Balliet were called to part with their little treasure their youngest child, a precious babe of seven weeks on last Thursday evening. A week of suffering closing with a severe attack of croup closed the record of a tender and sweet life not yet used to rigor of December snows, nor the sorrows of sin. It is all over now. Heaven is richer, and Heaven's stormless, sorrowless, painless life will better suit one who had not tasted earth's bitter cup. The funeral was from the house on Saturday p. m.
"His hands are cold; his face is white;
No more his pulses come and go;
His eyes are shut to life and light;--
Fold the white vesture, snow on snow,
And lay him where the violets blow."
